Cricket Section                     Irlam Cricket Club

Irlam Cricket Club was founded in 1937, and is often referred to as Irlam Steel Cricket Club. The Cricket section is run by a small group of dedicated Volunteers who form the committee.

Teams Consist of 2 senior teams, we also run teams for various age groups, under11’s, under 13’s, under 15’s, and under 17’s. We have five fully qualified cricket coach’s , and some of the best training facilities in the region, we have a 2 lane cricket nets with artificial surface and recently invested in a bowling machine to help with the training. Cricket season starts in the April, but pre season training starts February/March.
